Beat The Winter Blues With Goldfish Swim School

I'm not sure about you but one thing that really changes my mood is the weather.  Here in Indiana, and like most of you out there, we're getting snow after snow after snow which of course means that my babies can't just go outside to run off energy, we really can't take the cold to go to a park to play, we can't go swimming at our pool.  All of this staying inside can cause one thing: cabin fever!  I love love love when I find a way for them to burn off energy outside of the house.

Enter: Goldfish Swim School!  Swim classes are one of the best things we've done for our little ones!  This is our first year for both babies and so far they're both loving it.  I love it because it gives us something to look forward to every single week, for Emily it's helping with her learning first hand about structure, water safety, and patience.  For Brody it really helps him experience a different and new feeling since we don't live near water and he hasn't really been in it much.  It's also a bonding experience for which ever parent that swims with Brody.  Of course Emily swims without us but it's always so sweet seeing her look out to us for encouragement and praise when she's proud of herself!

I love that Goldfish Swim Schools start babies as young as four months old!  I can tell you that I didn't learn to swim until MUCH later in my life and water still can frighten me, so knowing BOTH of my littles are comfortable and are learning about the water is so comforting.  I also love the fact that they're so flexible with their schedules and work with you to make it easy for both kiddos to participate in lessons, like I said, four months and up!
